My Story Starting out in Sydney until the age of 17, I did what most kids do in reverse, move to the Highlands! Always being an adventurous person and love being active I created a new life of friends, family, and my own business in Beauty Therapy for 30 years within Bowral and Mittagong and dealing with my first round of brides for nails and make up. Slightly extraverted in personality, I have played many theatre roles enjoying singing, dancing and directing musical theatre My introverted side enjoys animals and gardening around the farm. I'm not quite the crazy bird lady but pretty close with all the chickens, ducks and peacocks. Life throws curve balls that you don't always want. Divorce, remarriage and loss of my second husband which has made me a stronger person, having to rebuild a new world when you thought it was just right. My career also changed a bit firstly to keep me financial and keep me busy so no to dwell on the past. Working at Wedding venues and restaurants certainly did keep me out of trouble. The last 10 years have been challenging but in a good way. Learning the complex craft of designing just what the bride and groom want and keeping your cool if it isn't exactly how they wanted it to be. Many times being the master fixer and quick thinking to resolve an issue not to ruin the whole wedding for them. The knowledge of years in this events industry has been such a rewarding and fulfilling which made me want to further my studies and help do even more within the wedding industry. There have been some absolutely huge set ups, simple but elegant weddings, surprise engagements I have setup, and so much more . It is such a good feeling at the end of the night when the family and friends give you their honest thanks for the event. We all want to have the perfect wedding day, the perfect weather, the perfect venue and the perfect ceremony, the perfect food and many more perfects. I hope that I can offer my services and guide you through all of these to create the most memorable special event that you will look back on for years and still smile with the pictures to remind you of your perfect day. I have been lucky to find my loving third husband to see my days though. This has been my best achievement. To share your life with the soul mate that you find even if its not the first time around. So I guess that you could say I've had all the ups and downs that has taught me to appreciate the goods and be there for others for help, guidance, support make it the best we can. |
